Spiritual Direction

The true ‘director’ here is the person of the Holy Spirit, that mysterious spark that lives in all people and is at the core, a mystery. 

 

It is in this mutual listening where together, we discern where you are being led and together uncover what is already happening within you.

Margaret Guenther calls spiritual direction ‘holy listening,' which is the best way to describe it. 

 

 Whether it is individually or in a group, spiritual direction involves listening together for the presence of God. 

 

That presence of the Divine is   

That which is other,

that which we believe is always there,

that which is always speaking. 

 

That presence where we will find,

where least expected,

perhaps not answers, but more questions.
